Peep Show {Progress}

Waiting for their stiff upper lips.

Just a quick little update on my lastest round of shoe attempts. #4 and #5. A pair of the peep toes in size 9 and a pair of ballet flats in size 8.5. The ballet flats pattern was made from the peep toe pattern just rounding out at the toe. Other than that they are the same pattern as previous shown in the protoype posts

They are both made from some light weight selvedge denim from CONE which I got from SAS Fabrics a few months back it was too short/light to make jeans besides I ruined the red line edge when I preshrunk it. I interfaced it with a weft insertion interfacing I got from Mood.com and used a thin lambskin I had gotten on eBay ($2 a foot fabulous quality was intending to make a jacket since I got 5 hides but they aren't all the same)

At this stage I have them lasted with the lining glued to the insole and ready for the thermoplastic toe puffs and counters.
