This portfolio class has been taking up some of my time but one of the goals that I set myself was to make something for my portfolio that was from the mood board/fabric headers that I have put on there. It also will match one of the sketches on my mockup line sheet but I haven't begun to do those sketches yet. Yes I know I should have dont those first but my creative process tends to start at the pattern and as you can see this is just another pair of ballet flats from my goto pattern. I should finish them today but until then here's a sneak peek.

These are ballet flats fabulous! I love them! I'm amazed that you are making shoes, and would never have even considered that.
I'll read back through your posts (came here from a link on MalePatternBoldness) and see what other wonders you are sharing.
Thank you. It all started with me googling "how to make ballet flats" Shoemaking info is hard to come by though so I'm making more of an effort to document my efforts than I would for sewing projects.
Is there a right way or wrong way to do something? Not necessarily but there is a way that logical, gives good result and less headaches and this is what this blog is truly about.
